| Dive for Earth Day, Chaweng Beach Posted: 24 Apr 2010 12:07 AM PDT Dive for Earth Day, Chaweng Beach Various hotels associated with the THA (Thai Hotel Association), Samui branch and three dive shops part of GIDOA combined forces for this years Dive for Earth Day. The hotel staff did a beach clean up and the divers did an underwater clean up under a blue, steaming hot sky!  The whole group before the start of the clean up, hotel staff and divers combined. Some of the smaller stuff we found, besides half a kayak, ropes, lots of plastic bags and other plastic items, shoes, clothes etc. One of the many bottles out there. We brought back a few kilos of garbage and just didn't have enough bags to take more stuff with us out of the water. The after dive shot of all the dive shop participants.
