The Joy of Fly Fishing in New Brunswick

Went out to a guitar jam Friday night to say goodbye to 2010 and hello to 2011 with some friends. Really happy I made it to midnight, but barely. Kim showed up with a bottle of something that sent me right over the edge.

I had been sitting there for more than 4 hours nursing my beer and a shot of Yukon Jack, as I am a very cheap drunk and I’m sure if I chucked a beer I would fall right over drunk.

Anyways I tried to just pass the bottle when it got to me but she wouldn’t have it. I had to have a drink. Should have told her to go stuff herself but she’s bigger and meaner than I am. So I took a drink. It taste great but went straight to my head. I thought I was going to need a seat belt for a few minutes but my head evened out after a few minutes and I was back to guitar playin’.

When I finally found the bed it was lights out and from then on I was bass fishing some place really sunny and warm. What was funny was that I was fishing with two other people and I had no idea who they were and why I was in a boat with them. But I had lots of fun on the water.

It was great fun but my head still hurts for some reason.
