The Joy of Fly Fishing in New Brunswick |
My Son Steve With His First Saskatchewan Pike Posted: 04 Sep 2012 11:14 AM PDT Steve moved out to Saskatchewan after finding it hard to get a good job here in New Brunswick. He worked hard, went back to school to study and practice steel fabrication. There was always promise of work here but it didn't come fast enough so we definitely miss him but he's doing what he went to school for and that's great. We still have video chat. Steve has a new girlfriend, Brianna. Great having a girlfriend who's dad has a boat like the one he's standing in. "Sure wish I'd had a girlfriend who's dad had a boat like that. Who would take someone like me on a boat." Just kidding dear. There is a damn that's close and where Steve caught his first ever pike. Now he is officially a reel FisherMann. Congrats Bud. Glad I got to share a float tube fishing trip with him. I had the best day of fishing. The shot below is Steve holding a fun little bass, at a spot not too far from Chipman. Jenny and I have to get out to visit Steve in Saskatchewan and time just right so he can take me on a big pike fishing trip. He can arrange the whole thing and pay for it now that he's making money. |
